Dow futures today, stocks fell on Tuesday yesterday to open November, as the latest labor market data cast doubt on the likelihood that the Federal Reserve will slow the pace of interest rate hikes anytime soon. U.S. stock futures traded in a tight range during late Tuesday trading, after the major averages had retreated during the regular session as market participants awaited the latest policy decision from the Federal Reserve following the conclusion of its two-day meeting on Wednesday.

US Stock Futures: Dow Futures Steady Today

At 7:05 PM ET (11:05 AM GMT) Dow Jones Futures and S&P 500 Futures were flat while Nasdaq 100 Futures edged 0.1% higher. In extended deals, Advanced Micro Devices Inc (NASDAQ: AMD ) rose 4.1% after the company reported Q3 EPS of $0.67, below estimates of $0.68, while revenue was reported at $5.6 billion versus estimates of $5.62 billion. Airbnb Inc (NASDAQ: ABNB ) fell 6.2% after reporting Q3 EPS of $1.79, beating estimates of $1.44 while revenue was $2.88 billion versus estimates of $2.84 billion. Match Group Inc (NASDAQ: MTCH ) rose 16.2% after reporting Q3 EPS of $0.44 versus expectations of $0.52 on revenue of $809.5 million versus estimates of $795.5 million. ZoomInfo Technologies Inc (NASDAQ: ZI ) plunged 21.5% after reporting Q3 EPS of $0.24 versus $0.20 expected on revenue of $287.6 million versus estimates of $278.52 million.



Fed Rate Hike

The decline came after an October rally – and now markets are nervous that the Fed will signal more rate hikes even after its meeting, which begins Tuesday. The rate announcement is due Wednesday afternoon. While a 75 basis point rate hike is widely expected from U.S. Federal Reserve policymakers later in the session, close attention will be paid to Powell’s remarks that could signal less aggressive hikes starting in December. Investors will also be watching new mortgage applications data and the ADP jobs report , as well as earnings from companies including CVS Health Corp (NYSE: CVS ), GlaxoSmithKline (NYSE: GSK ), Paramount Global (NASDAQ: PARA ) and Yum!
