As is known, the winners are calculated based on the highest ROI percentage. There will be a leaderboard displaying the ROI scores, which can be viewed on the GIC's app, GICTrade, as well as the GIC website.

For those of you who are still confused about the profit calculation rules for the winners, here’s an explanation. It is important to know that the profit calculation is based on all open positions at 03:59:59 WIB on May 7, 2022 (the first month of the competition). This will be considered the final price used for the ROI calculation, which will determine the winners of the GIC Trading Competition. For the profit calculation, it is based on the following ROI calculation formula:

  1. Beginner Category Profit (%) = (Profit/ Initial Equity + Top Up) * 100%
  2. Intermediate Category Profit (%) = (Profit/ Initial Equity + Top Up) * 110%
  3. Advanced Category Profit (%) = (Profit/ Initial Equity + Top Up) * 120%
  4. Expert Category Profit (%) = (Profit/ Initial Equity + Top Up) * 130%
Now, the positions that will be considered also apply in several aspects. The calculation of these positions also applies in the ROI calculation itself, which is as follows:
  1. Open positions before the competition starts and closed positions during the competition.
  2. Open positions before the competition are considered with a profit/loss calculation starting from zero (0).
  3. Positions that were open before the competition started and are still open at 04:00:00 on April 4, 2022.
  4. Positions that are open during the competition and positions that are closed during the competition.
  5. Positions that were open during the competition and are still open at 03:59:59 on May 6, 2022.
Don't worry if you're confused about the calculation. As mentioned above, once the competition has started, GICTrade will display the daily profit percentages of the contestants on the Leaderboard on both the official website and the GICTrade app.

For the winners' prizes, there will be a Pool Reward that will be given. Each participant in the GIC Trading Competition who joins the competition will receive an additional amount to the total prize pool to be awarded to the winners. Additionally, there are more bonuses for bonus hunters. You can receive an extra bonus by referring a new account to join the GIC Trading Competition. This bonus will be added outside of the affiliate bonus. The amount of the bonus is as follows:
  1. Beginner Category amounting 5 GICT/ account
  2. Intermediate Category amounting 10 GICT / account
  3. Advance Category amounting 25 GICT / account
  4. Expert Category amounting 50 GICT / account
The referral bonus will be granted if the referred account has traded a minimum lot equivalent to the deposit amount. Specifically, the minimum lot is calculated as 1000 divided by the deposit. Only positions that remain open for at least 2 minutes will be counted towards the minimum lot requirement. Once these conditions are met, the referral bonus will be awarded to the referrer at the end of the competition.

If two or more contestants have the same profit percentage (up to two decimal places), the contestant with the smallest drawdown percentage will be ranked higher. The list of winners will be announced on the GICTrade mobile app and the official GIC website. Within 14 days after the GIC Trading Competition ends, the selected winners will receive an email at the address provided during registration.
